OK I have a few options. I can leave by train shortly after Wednesday and start my ride from San Francisco this weekend. I want to get on the road ASAP, but I'm now down to $900. The train will cost me around $100. Unfortunately since I have moved up my departure time from June my corporate sponsors need a few more weeks to get their paperwork done and get me the Ensure coupons. Money is just going to be really tight for the next month.
My second option is to wait until April 9th and get a free ride to San Francisco from a friend. Another friend is remodeling his house and has offered to let me stay at his place and said he would pay me to work while I'm there. He will not be be able to pay me all the money at once but will be able to put a $100 a month in my account. I could easily do $1,000 worth of work by the 9th
This would really improve my financing and give me time to work on my website, new brochures, and our Epic logo.. This would also give me time to do more fundraising and and give my corporate sponsors time to get our plans finalized.
I got some thinking to do! It also might be nice to rest a bit after this move. We got most of our stuff moved into storage and it was a lot of back-breaking work! It was also emotionally draining. This has been our home for over five years. The change is for the best, but has been a lot to take on.
Keep me in your thoughts and thanks for being patient and understanding the necessary changes to my plans. I'm doing the best I can with that I have and whatever i do it's going to be super awesome
My daughter is working on designing a logo. Here is a copy of a post I posted about it.
Everything is almost done and I'm ready to leave. Windows is installed and my editing software is installed and running. Thinking about getting a monthly subscription to Adobe Cloud so I can do more work from the road. I plan to ride less and rest more giving me time and energy to enjoy the trip and produce some good content. Working on new logo and getting a quick video out. My Daughter is helping, here are her first two logos, not bad for her first time using AI
I'm so ready to get on the road! Not is sure if I can wait another two weeks. Lots of work to do and will stay busy and make this trip truly Epic!!
